Authentic!! That's really all you need to know. Seriously I don't know how I have never been to Rosso before. The shop is cute and quant, super clean and right out of brick lined Italian shop. Rosso has every flavor you could want, try them until you find the one for you and order half and half if you can't decide. Tonight I went for the raspberry truffle, not too sweet with the right amount of chocolate flecks. It was like buttery velvet! The small cup was huge, stacked over the top, truly the perfect serving. My husband had the medium and well that was ginormous. Great authentic gem in the heart of downtown Rocky River, grab dinner nearby and walk over for gelato to end your night. Fantastic Service too.

Best gelato in town! I love their chocolate hazelnut flavor, so creamy and delicious. I just love how fresh their flavors taste. It's also very affordable too which is a big plus. They also offer coffee as well. There are 3 sizes small, medium and large. You can get waffle cones as well. For the waffle cones, you can get up to 2 flavors. I cannot wait to come back to try more flavors.

As tasty as it looks. Rosso Gelato Genuine Sorbetto. Raspberry ~ Lampone ~ Our raspberry sorbetto is a favorite. It is full of raspberry flavor with a smooth texture. Perfect as a simple dessert for your next event. Blood Orange ~ Aranciarossa ~ Our Blood Orange is made with Italy's favorite orange...tarocco. Tarocco oranges are grown in the incredibly fertile volcanic soil around Mt. Etna. These oranges are prized for their tangy sweet flavor. And seasonal. - Green Apple Rosso Gelato Be sure to sample whatever looks good and then go back for seconds

This darling place is nestled in an adorable shopping plaza called Old River Shopping. Precious, I tell you. The interior is laden with retro red leather furniture and quaint white tables. Vibes of an old school ice cream parlor meets the elegance of Italian gelato. A very sweet infusion, indeed. Flavors ranged from simple fruits (lemon, lime, watermelon, etc) to delicacies such as Salted Caramel, Double Chocolate Chip, and a personal favorite: Almond. Three different sizes available for all the gelato craving stomachs, and a great staff with smiling faces! If you're in the area and your sweet tooth is screaming... come on in... you'll soon be beaming. (I'm a 12 year old poet - don't judge me) ;)

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet!! It is hands down my favorite gelato place in Cleveland. I've been here a bunch of times and my favorites are the almond, pistachio and hazelnut. The almond is so true to its flavor! It doesn't have any of the disgusting almond extract taste! I haven't found this flavor anywhere else in all my travels. It's a must try! The pistachio is also delicious and again true to its flavor. Most pistachio ice creams/gelato have the disgusting almond extract in it but theirs is so so good!! Depending on who serves you, you could either hit the jackpot and get a huge helping or get a really small helping that makes you want more

This place had me thinking I was in Italy when I was actually in suburban Ohio.... who would a thought that could be a thing! The decor of this place is adorable. And the man behind the counter didn't judge me when I wanted to sample at least 8 of the flavors... made all my dreams come true. I ended up going with salted Carmel and raspberry truffle and I was in total taste heaven! So happy this place exists !!

Rosso Gelato is truly a special treat. They are located in the Old River area, which is super cute in and of itself. The store is relatively big, with ample seating, as well as some tables and seating outside. They offer many flavors of gelato, from fruity to chocolatey, and everywhere in between. After an intense inner struggle to decide on my ideal flavor (I debated between grapefruit, green apple, and salted caramel), I landed on salted caramel and was not disappointed. The gelato was rich and filling, which made me challenge myself to finish the medium sized cup that I had ordered. The cups look so small up on the counter, but they fill it to the top and far over. Plus, gelato is so rich and filling, that you really don't need much. So don't be fooled, you may not need as big of a size as you think. They normally aren't very busy in my experience, but when they are- you may have a wait. They typically only have one employee working when I've visited. I highly recommend stopping in for a cool treat that feels a little more gourmet than your typical ice cream shop or soft serve.

I don't trust anyone who doesn't like gelato. I've lived in Europe and can honestly tell you this was some of the best gelato i've ever had in Ohio. For starters, the place is obsessively adorable. It's a modern, sleek design with bright red and white furnishings and a moped that sits in the window. There are two giant seating areas, so you'll never have to fight for a spot and you can willingly move away from obnoxious children. The shop is sparkling and spotless. The gelato itself is organized into two cases: dairy bases and non-dairy bases. This is super helpful (hard to keep track when they put them all in the same cabinet). The gentleman helping me allowed me to sample as many as I wanted with little judgment, and I could barely make a decision. Everything was delicious. You can tell the difference when gelato is made with real fruit, and I even love that little pieces of fruit are in their gelato. At the recommendation of the gentleman, I ended up mixing two flavors into a small cup: pink grapefruit and raspberry. It was perfect! Side note: the small itself is a hearty portion if you just need a quick fix (see my photo). I love this place and will definitely come back. Gelato never really went out of style, but Rosso makes a gelato date hip and cool.

This cute little gelato gem was a new find for me. My friend and I were originally going to Mitchell's, but the line was insanely long. We searched and found the nearest location to get dessert, and ended up here. Atmosphere: the interior is done in all red and white. The inside is very clean and appealing, though their bathroom is not in the best condition. I preferred sitting outside though. The sun had just went down, and there were twinkly lights illuminating the street. Service: The staff was friendly and polite. They patiently allowed me to try several samples before making my decision. Food: I taste tested blood orange, which was amazing tart for those who like that, and the chocolate was rich and creamy. In the end, I went with lime and my friend choose banana. A small cup will run you 3.50, but they are generous in overfilling the serving. I couldn't even finish all of mine. The taste was a win, my lime was refreshing and just the right amount of flavor. My friend enjoyed her banana, but I'm not a banana flavor fan so I didn't try it and can't give an accurate description. It smelled very banana-y if that helps. I would like to return and try a full serving of chocolate on my next visit. The only thing I wish they did offer was a kiddie size portion. Since I can't overdo it on sweets, a kiddie size would work perfect for me.
